This daily guide offers daily prayers, readings and hymns for Advent and Christmas. Many of the prayers and scripture readings reflect the Advent theme of the week. We believe this guide will help you as individuals, roommates, groups, and families to enter into the story of the gospel in new and deeper ways. Our goal is not to load you down with more tasks in an already busy life, but rather to provide you with tools to help you experience God’s goodness more fully this season and beyond.
Resurrection Sheepshead Bay hosted our 2nd Summer Enrichment Camp with smashing success for 4 weeks in July. Together with outstanding volunteer teams from Hope Church, Signal Mountain Presbyterian, and StoneBridge Church Community campers enjoyed art, crafts, science experiments, classroom cooking, reading and math skills drills and games, music, dance, chess and other strategy games, and much more! Check out the slideshow below to see some of the fun.

Stations of the Nativity will be a series of artistic depictions celebrating the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. The object of the “stations” is to help Christians embark on a spiritual pilgrimage during this year’s season of Advent.
Seeking direction from the Holy Spirit, each artist uses their artistic gifts to illuminate the Gospel Story, with all the art we create expressing our love for God and the joy we share in Him. All art on display will be available for Silent Auction at the time of the gallery showing (while selling the art is not the purpose of the show, it not only helps support the creative community at Resurrection Brooklyn, but also the Mercy Team ministry helping those in need in our congregation).
Performed by the Resurrection Sheepshead Bay Worship Band on our 100th Sunday. Psalm 130 (From the Depths of Woe) was voted the most popular song we sing at worship on Sundays. Enjoy!
