As always, our week in August with the team from StoneBridge Church Community was an enormous blessing to both our church family and our neighborhood! This year part of the team spent each day at the Sheepshead Bay Yacht Club gutting, cleaning, and refinishing an upstairs apartment that will soon house both a nursery and office space for our church. This team also helped with general repairs, which was a huge service to the yacht club community. The other part of the team planned, prepared for, and ran our first ever Worship and Arts Camp for Kids (WACK). About fifteen Brooklyn kids benefited from this super fun camp where they sang songs, explored new instruments, tried gymnastics, learned drama techniques, and used their creativity making art. Thank you, StoneBridge Church Community for giving yourselves and your resources to serve us in Brooklyn!
